In short
- The website processes only what you send us by email. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking script, no account, no form that stores anything on our side.
- Our apps (Multilingual Pages for Confluence, and any app we publish later) run entirely on Atlassian Forge, inside Atlassian's own infrastructure. We never see your page content. What each app stores, and why, is documented on its own page under Documentation — this policy explains the legal basis for it, not the mechanism.
- We have no sub-processors: no third party processes data on our behalf, because no data reaches us in the first place.
This website (execolab.com)
The site is static — there is no server-side code, no database, no form submission handler. The only way it processes personal data is if you choose to email us via one of the addresses on the contact page.
What we process: the email address and message content you send us. Why: to read and reply to your message. Legal basis: legitimate interest (responding to a request you initiated) or, where the message concerns a contract with us, performance of that contract. Retention: for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted.
Our hosting provider (GitLab) may process standard technical web logs (such as IP addresses) as part of operating the infrastructure the site runs on. We do not have access to, or make use of, that data ourselves.
Our apps
Each app we publish declares no external egress: the Forge platform itself blocks any outbound network call to a server of ours or anyone else's. Concretely, this means the only personal data involved is what Atlassian's own platform stores on our app's behalf, inside your Confluence instance's data residency.
For Multilingual Pages specifically:
- What is stored: the list of languages configured on a page (a content property, inside your Confluence), and a reader's language choice for a given page (Forge storage, keyed by Atlassian account ID and page ID). Full detail, including exactly which Atlassian scopes are requested and why, is on the Data & permissions page.
- What is never stored: page content. Diagnostic logs record technical identifiers only (a page ID, an error code, a correlation reference) — never the text of a translation.
- Why: this is processed to provide the feature itself — showing each reader their language, and remembering their choice — under the terms of your organisation's agreement with Atlassian for installing the app (contract performance / legitimate interest in providing the functionality you installed the app for).
- Where: hosted by Atlassian as part of the Forge platform, governed by Atlassian's own terms. We do not choose or control its location independently.
- Retention: for as long as the app is installed and the page exists. See feature details ("If the app is uninstalled") for specifics.
If an Atlassian account holder is themselves the data subject in question (for instance, regarding their stored language preference), the request should generally go through your organisation's own Confluence administrator, since Execolab does not manage end-user accounts or authentication — Atlassian does.
International transfers
We do not transfer data internationally ourselves: app data stays within Atlassian's infrastructure and residency settings, and website correspondence is only ever between you and us by email. Where Atlassian's own infrastructure involves a transfer, that is governed by Atlassian's terms, not ours.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability where it applies. To exercise any of these regarding your correspondence with us, write to contact@execolab.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Effective from" date at the top will be updated. We do not track or notify on a per-visitor basis, consistent with running no analytics.
